Instilling and growing leadership skills in an organization’s current and emerging leaders is critical to building a strong workplace culture. Grounded firmly in adult learning theory and practice, we employ an action-learning approach that allows individuals to grow and practice new leadership skills while tackling their real-world business challenges. In other words, these are not theoretical exercises. Instead, your organization achieves immediate practical returns on its investments in its leaders. Such a learning-while-doing approach builds your leaders, drives team development, and improves overall organizational performance simultaneously.
Leadership Assessment, Debrief, and Goal Setting
This process is similar to the discovery, debrief, and SMART goal setting processes listed in our executive coaching approach above, just without the coaching component for the leader. Utilizing validated assessment and interview data that are gathered about the leader, we engage in a thorough review of the collected information and their resulting interpretations and conclusions. In concert with the leader, we then derive a set of SMART goals and recommendations for the leader’s further consideration and possible action. This approach is most effective with leaders who are already functioning fairly well, are motivated, require little to no support, and just want to ensure that they are on track.
