Employee Engagement

While research has shown that employee engagement drives employee performance, organizational performance, and customer engagement, we believe the term itself is a misnomer. Employee engagement is really about leader behavior: employees cannot be engaged if their leaders do not engage them. Effective leaders know their people well, understanding and appreciating their unique aspirations, motivations, strengths, and developmental needs. And they work actively to create a culture where their people feel valued, respected, challenged, and safe to take risks and even fail.
